Ecumenical Ash Wednesday
Consider scheduling an evening Liturgy of the Word with ashes to which parishioners may invite non-Catholic spouses, relatives and friends. It is a (rare) service in which all Christians can fully participate.
In the past Ive had individual non-Catholics ask if they could receive ashes, and two non-Catholic churches asked where I get the ashes so they could have a similar service. Always been happy to share my ashes! :)
